Donna L. Wilson, age 82 of Burnside, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, October 27, 2025.
She was born on October 31, 1942 in Garrett, Kentucky, daughter of the late Don and Bessie Howard Beatty.
Donna was an L.P.N. and retired from the McCreary County School District. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts, shopping, fishing, car races and taking care of her fur babies. She was of the Baptist faith and was the previous secretary for Eastern Star in Burnside where she had been a member for many years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Douglas Wilson; brothers, Blaine “Rusty” Beatty, Lionel Beatty and Herbert Beatty; and a sister, Patricia Burrow.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Castle (Alissa) of Burnside and Tracey Wilson (Barbara) of Tateville; 4 grandchildren, Trevor Castle, Emily Heath, Tracey Wilson, Zachary Wilson; 7 great-grandchildren, Alison Wilson, Alley Wilson, Charleigh Wilson, London Castle, Lainey Castle, Tinsley Heath and Graylee Heath. She is also survived by her special nieces, Brenda and Rhonda.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Lonnie Sewell officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
