Listen to the Obituary
Adam Kelly Roark, 39, of Somerset, Kentucky, was born on February 25, 1986, to Kevin and Teresa Glover Roark. He was tragically taken from us far too soon on October 8, 2025.
Adam met the love of his life, Danielle, at Pennyrail in 2012. They married on December 10, 2013, and together built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter, raising three wonderful children: Carter, Amery, and Breckael Roark. Being a father was Adam’s greatest joy—he was proud of his kids beyond measure, and their happiness was his happiness.
Adam loved life and loved his people. He expressed that love freely, with heartfelt words and his signature big ol’ hugs. If Adam loved you, you knew it—he told you. He was known for his infectious laugh, which often filled the room and got everyone else laughing too.
Adam had a rare and special bond with his siblings, Keith, Conor, and Angela. They were best friends growing up and remained each other’s biggest supporters through life. He was also proud of his roots—deeply connected to both the Roark and Glover families. Raised in White Lily, Adam cherished places like Wesley’s Chapel and Piney Grove, and he was known as everyone’s “favorite cousin.”
A 2004 graduate of Pulaski County High School, Adam excelled in both academics and athletics. He had a passion for soccer from a young age, kicking a ball as soon as he could walk. His talent on the field led to a standout high school career and recruitment to play at the collegiate level. He was a thrill to watch and known for racking up hat-tricks.
Adam’s professional life reflected his personality: friendly, dedicated, and trustworthy. He worked for many years at Alton Blakley and later at Legacy Nissan in London, where he built lasting relationships with customers who often became friends.
Adam is survived by his loving wife Danielle and their three children; Carter, Amery, and Breckael; his parents, Kevin (and Sonya) Roark and Teresa Roark; siblings Keith Roark, Conor Roark, and Angela Evans; uncles Donnie, Danny, Steve, David, Tracy, Marty, and Joe Glover, Kerry Roark, and James Anderson; aunts Kathy Hines, Rita Gregory, Bonnie Retherford, Mary Anderson, and Judy Schaap; and more cousins than could be counted, along with countless dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Justin Vernon Roark and Gladys Anderson; maternal grandparents, William “Bud” Glover and Margaret Jean Glover; uncles Bill and Kelly Roark; and aunt Denice O’Rourke.
Adam would want us to cling tightly to the memories, to love boldly, and to laugh loudly—just like he did.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
