Patricia Ann Bolin, age 59, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at her residence. She was born on August 21, 1965, in Somerset to the late William Lee Murphy and Delma Sears Murphy.
Patricia dearly loved spending time with her daughter, granddaughter, and her many friends. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, woodworking, making t-shirts, crafting, and playing bingo. She had previously attended and was baptized at Wesley’s Chapel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Lee Murphy and Henry Murphy; paternal grandparents, Herbert and Lizzie Murphy; maternal grandparents, Elsie Burchfield and Martha Sears; and her uncle, James Burchfield.
Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved daughter, Dameckia (Benjamin) Gatchel of Somerset; grandchildren, Clarity Gatchel, Sable Bybee, and Gable Hamley; brother, John Murphy of Somerset; sister, Wanda Lynn Hines of Somerset; adopted daughters, Megan Wright and Meredith Chambers; nephews, Jeremy (Jenna) Milburn and Jonathon Murphy; nieces, Amber (Tyler) Adkins, Amanda (Gary) Sharp, and Natasha (Tyler Frisbie) Murphy; her special bingo buddy, Debbie Hall; along with a host of extended family and friends and special childhood friend, Jonathan Oaks.
Visitation for Ms. Patricia Bolin will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Joseph Isaacs officiating. Burial will be in the private family cemetery.

Jerry and me have known Patty for over 25 years. She was a good woman and loved her family with all her being. Prayers for Damekia and Clarity, they were a close little family.
