Paul provided well for his family traveling countless miles across the country for more than 35 years as a truck driver retiring in 2001 as an owner operator, and was later employed at World Wide Equipment, and First & Farmers bank as a courier. Paul was known to be blunt, bold, and full of heart. Those that knew him best understood the deep kindness and loyalty that lay beneath the sometimes-gruff exterior. He had a heart of gold, was generous, protective, and compassionate. Though words can never fully capture the impact of a life well lived, friends and family will forever feel his absence and cherish the moments shared.
Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and ashes will be interred privately. A celebration of life gathering will be held for friends and family at a later time. In lieu of flowers, gestures of remembrance in Paul’s honor through acts of kindness or donations to the United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) or Hospice of Lake Cumberland are encouraged.
