Tommy “Tobo” A.  Ridener, age 61, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, surrounded by his family and friends.

Tommy was born on November 29, 1963 to the late James Arlis Ridener and Wanda Pearl Bray Ridener in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed the outdoors, deer hunting, ginseng digging, yard sales, family time, sports, basketball, an avid UK fan, and an avid Steelers fan all his life.

Tommy was preceded in death by two sisters: Judy “Midge” Smith and Bertie Ridener.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Rhonda Ridener, his mother, Wanda Ridener, son, Michael (Andreia) Ridener, daughters: Kesha (Derek) Chitwood and Tori Goff, brothers: Bro. Raymond (Teresa) Ridener and Doug (Judy) Ridener, sisters: Wilma Lowery, Barb (Jay) York, Darlene (Rick) Campbell and Sandy (Doug) Bray all of Somerset, Ky; along with grandchildren: Grayson Chitwood, Kyleigh Ridener and Jailyn Ridener.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 4-8pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 2pm at the funeral home with Bro. Raymond Ridener officiating. Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Ridener, Derek Chitwood, Tanner McCalister, Marc Cundiff, Rodger Thompson, Douglas Ridner, Wayne Catron and Ryan Tompkins.
