Frankie A. Goodman, age 53 of Burnside, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

He was born on July 16, 1971 in Somerset, Kentucky, the son of Marla Haynes Daulton. He was a heavy equipment operator for Hinkle Construction and a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Burnside Masonic Lodge #634 and a member of Eastern Star Point Isabel #582. Frankie was a member of Neely’s Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, especially deer hunting, riding his side by side with his wife and cooking for his family. Most of all he loved being a pop pop to Charlie. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Lillian Haynes.

He is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Mataia Goodman; mother, Marla Haynes Daulton; children, Johnathan Goodman, Madison Goodman and Elijah Goodman; brothers and sisters, Glenn Goodman, Janie Goodman, Darrell Daulton and Matthew (Meghan) Daulton; grandbaby, Charlie Smith; father-in-law, Kenny McFarland; mother-in-law, Linda McFarland and a brother-in-law, Chad (Missy) McFarland. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Lawson and Bro. Buddy Barnett officiating. Masonic Services will take place before the funeral service. Burial will be in Sloans Valley Cemetery.
