Edith was a wonderful homemaker, a faithful servant of her Lord Jesus Christ, Sunday School teacher for 40 years, always by the side of her pastor husband, and caring for her large family and neighbors. She was known for her many delicious, home-cooked meals, her singing, her laughter, her joyful spirit and her gift of hospitality. She was a remarkable storyteller and her children and grandchildren relished these stories.
Edith has been cared for several years at her home by her beloved family, which was managed by Linda Morgan who lived nearby and her close neighbor, Brenda Sandusky.
It is a true celebration for her to be welcomed home by her Savior, and we know she heard the words, “well done, my good and faithful servant.”

We love her so much! She was a wonderful Christian role model for our family.
I want to share John 3:16 in her memory: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Loved by so many. A hard but loving life. Her memory will live on forever. No more pain or sorrow in the loving arms of our Jesus Christ.
I didn’t know your Mom. I know my mother liked her. Your Dad was my Mom’s uncle. My great uncle. My Mom’s mother was Hazel Davidson Helton. Your Dad’s sister. Just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear about your mother. May God provide everyone comfort and peace through this difficult time.
