Lavena “Bean” Price age 61 of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life on Friday, December 8, 2023.

Lavena was born on April 2, 1962 to Ellis Hall and Gertrude Collins Hall in Martin, Kentucky.

She was of the Baptist faith. She was a retired nurse and veterinary technician. She enjoyed and was devoted to her love of taking care of the many pets she rescued. She also had a love for horses, especially her horse “Jazz”.

Lavena was preceded in death by her mother, Gertrude Hall and a sister, Brandy Hall.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband Keith Price, her father, Ellis Hall of Somerset, Ky; daughters, Mandy (Justin) Abney of Lexington, Ky; Kami (Brian) Bumpus of Knoxville, TN; brother, Brian (Krystal) Hall of Somerset, Ky; sister, Renee Burton of Nancy, Ky; granddaughter, Madison Abney; and a host of nieces and nephews; along with like family: Janell Meadows and Loretta Woodall. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 4-7pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life to begin at 7pm with Bro. Clyde Strunk officiating. Burial will be in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
