Starlene F. Hammond, age 59 of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, December 2, 2022 at her home.
She was born on April 18, 1963 in Somerset, daughter of the late Robert and Janetta Meece Fitzpatrick.
She was a homemaker and a member of Denham Street Baptist Church. Starlene enjoyed fishing, and playing and watching sports. She was an avid UK basketball and football fan. She had a green thumb for gardening and enjoyed working with her flower garden as well. Above all, she was a Christian who loved God and her church family dearly. Starlene will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Bobby Fitzpatrick and Scott Fitzpatrick.
She is survived by her husband, Donny Hammond; her daughter, April D. (Carrol) Adams of Richmond; brothers, David Fitzpatrick of Somerset, James Fitzpatrick of Louisville, Charles (Anita) Fitzpatrick and Bruce (Carrie) Fitzpatrick all of Somerset; her grandchildren, Kara Grace Staats and Logan N. Staats. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Service will held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Griffith officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Shannon Fitzpatrick, Stephen Fitzpatrick, Dean Harness, Forrest Hammond, Jesse McCoy, Dusty Adams, Keith Hammond, Chris Fitzpatrick, and Mike New.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Starlene F. Hammond.

I remember star when I went to Denham street church she was a very sweet person loved by all will be miss Prayers for her family.
