Wanda Faye Cain, age 77, of Somerset, KY., passed away on Sunday July 5, 2015 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on February 23, 1938 in Millstone, KY., to the late Chelis and Melda Mullins Stamper.
She was a member of Harvest Time Assembly of God. She loved going to church, loved Christmas, and loved her grandchildren. She was a living Mother, grandmother, and devoted friend.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Ivodine Cain of whom she married on October 5, 1972 in Campbell County, TN and her parents, Chelis and Melda Stamper.
She is survived by one son, Donald (and Barbara) Hall of Romeoville, IL; one daughter, Tammy (and Chris) Martin of Plainfield, IL; two brothers, Jim (and Pam) Stamper of Lexington, KY; and Clarence (and Almadean) Stamper of Middlesboro, KY; five grandchildren, Matthew Hall, Chad Hall, Samantha Hall, Cody Martin, Gabriel Martin, and four great-grandchildren, Alex Hall, Liam Hall, Caleb Hall, and Sage Hall.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 7, 2015 from 6pm to 9pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday July 8, 2015 at 10am in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Mullins officiating.
Burial will follow in Mill Springs National Cemetery.
