Dallas Doyle Hammond age 68, of Burnside passed away on Thursday May 8, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Mr. Hammond was born on December 16, 1945 in Wayne County to the late Owen and Bessie Gibson Hammond.
He was united in marriage to Inna Andreyeva Hammond on May 27, 1999, she survives. Other survivors include, two sons, Anthony Hammond of Bronston, Kentucky and Daniel Lykins of Fairborn, Ohio; Daughters, Holly Hammond of Fairborn, Ohio, Pamela Hammond of Somerset, Kentucky and Lily Orloff of Ontario, Canada; He also leaves behind to cherish his memory three grandchildren.
Mr. Hammond was preceded in death by his parents Owen and Bessie (Gibson) Hammond and one brother Gary Hammond.Dallas had a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Eastern Kentucky University.
Dallas enjoyed hunting arrowheads, history, geography, fishing and camping but most of all he loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a member of the Dixie Bend United Baptist Church of Burnside, Kentucky, where he attended faithfully up until his death. Visitation for Mr. Hammond will be Sunday May 11, 2014 from 1-3 P.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3 P.M. with Bro. Mike Hammond officiating. Interment will follow in the Bronston Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request that expressions of sympathy be made to the Dixie Bend united Baptist Church fund.
