Robert (Bobby) Stewart, age 84 of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on September 11, 1939 in Colo, Kentucky to the late Ferrell Stewart and Helen Hodge Stewart. He was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 67 years, Vona Stewart; one brother, Wendell Stewart and on granddaughter, Kimberly Stewart. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Darrell (Donna) Stewart of Somerset, Diana (Shane) Davis of Monticello and Karen (Jim) Souva of Somerset; a son, Bobby Jr. (Trish) Dykes of Somerset; sister, Janet (Curtis) Baker of Danville; brother, Donald Stewart of Somerset; grandchildren, Lola Bland, Waylon Stewart, Josh and Ashley Stewart, Jamie and Julie McQueen, Shawna McQueen and Chris Booth, Stephanie McQueen, Nikki and Michael Ponder, Kayla and Denzil Stephens, Jessica Carter and Cody Graves, Bree, Kylie, Leah and Ellen Dykes and 55 great and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home with Bro. Raymond Ridner officiating. Burial will be in White Lily Cemetery.
