Wanzie Bell Gadberry age 69, of Nancy, Kentucky passed from this life Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at her home.

Wanzie was born April 14, 1951 to the late Everett Floyd and Juanita Muse Floyd in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was a member of Naomi Nazarene Church and enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, eating out and cleaning. Wanzie cherished her family, loved her granddaughter, Emma dearly. She was the family comedian of the family. She loved to joke and have fun.

Wanzie was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Juanita Floyd, her husband, Glen Gadberry, brother, Royce Floyd, and sister, Pauletta Gadberry.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Paul T. Gadberry (Lisa) of Byrdstown, TN, brother, Darwin Floyd of Fairfield, OH, sister, Nelda Tarter of Somerset, granddaughter, Emma Gadberry of Byrdstown, TN, special nephew, Lucas Gadberry and special great-nephew, Lincoln Phelps.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 15, 2021 from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 12:30 P.M. with Bro. Gary Clark officiating, burial will follow in Mill Springs National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Muse, Wayne Gadberry, Jerry Gadberry, Michael Henderson, Lucas Gadberry, Joe Bastin and Eric Phelps.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Memory of Wanzie Gadberry to the Gospel Christian Academy in honor of her granddaughter, Emma Gadberry C/O Jewell Pyles 4161 Burkesville Rd. Albany, Ky 42602.
