_{Rhonda Lorraine Newell-Goodwin, age 60, of Somerset, formerly of San Diego, California passed away from this life on Monday, September 18, 2017 at her residence.}  

_{She was born on June 30, 1957 in San Diego, California, daughter of Bobby Newell of Somerset and the late Imogene Richards Newell.  Rhonda was a Customer Service Representative with Blackboard Student Services for a number of years and enjoyed being a grandmother, and proud member of the “MoM” club.  In her spare time Rhonda enjoyed playing card games, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.  She was of the Christian Faith.}  

_{Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.} 

_{She leaves to cherish her precious memories; her Father; Bobby Newell, her loving and devoted children; Glynis (Jonathan) Larcomb of Somerset, La’Ron (Grace) Newell-Goodwin of Lexington as well as Jordan (Alexis) Girdler of Georgetown, Christopher Bradley and Joseph Rose of Somerset, brother; Bobby (Angela) Newell, Jr. of Hesperia, California, sisters; Denise Newell of San Diego, California, and Pamela Murrell of Summerville, Tennessee, as well as her grandchildren; Serenity Newell-Goodwin, Jaden Larcomb, Tristen Larcomb, Karson Girdler and Kyra Larcomb and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.}  

_{Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m Friday, September 22, 2017 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.} 

_{Funeral Service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bishop Eric Barnes officiating.}
