Gerald L. Haynes, 67, of Somerset, Kentucky,
passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012, at his
He was born on September 3, 1944, in
Meece, Kentucky to the late Howard Haynes and
Mary Mae Waddle Haynes.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his
wife, Mary Lou Kennedy Haynes whom he married
May 9, 1964; son, Gerald L. (Jennifer) Haynes,
Jr. of Somerset; daughter, Cindy (Bart) Molden
of Somerset; brothers, William (Carolyn) Haynes
of Hamilton, Ohio, Kenneth Haynes of Hamilton,
Ohio, Curtis (Fran) Haynes of Hamilton, and
Harold (Glenda) Haynes of Somerset; sisters,
Dean Waddle of Milford, Ohio, Carolyn (Rex)
Decker of Monticello, Kentucky, and Rosie
(Nicky) Hamm of Somerset; grandchildren, Sarah
Thompson, Ryan Molden, Will Molden, Derrick
Patton, Michelle (T.J.) Wren, and Scott Patton;
great grandchildren, Kaylee Patton, and Caden
Mr. Haynes was predeceased by his sister,
Imogene Rose, brothers-in-law, Leroy Rose, and
Bill Waddle, sisters-in-law, Connie Haynes,
Mr. Haynes was retired from Frei Plumbing. He
was of the Baptist faith.
enjoyed gardening, deer hunting, rabbit hunting,
was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed sportsman class
racing with his family around Southern Kentucky
The family will receive friends at Southern Oaks
Funeral Home at 6 P.M. Sunday July 1, 2012.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday,
July 2, 2012 at 1:00 P.M.
with Bro. Paul Hines officiating. Burial will
follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers family request expressions of
sympathy may be made to Hospice of Lake
Cumberland, or Gideon Memorial Bible Plan.
