Virgil R. Bray, age 49, of Bronston, Kentucky passed from this life on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the A. B. Chandler, U. K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky with his wife and daughters by his side.

He was born on March 7, 1968 in Tallahassee, Florida, son of the late Kenneth Ray Bray and Mary Dianna Miles Bray. Virgil was self employed as an independent Carpenter, who worked hard to provide for his family. He was a loving Husband, Father and Papaw, who loved spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, watching his favorite tv shows, and listening to music. Virgil was a kind, generous and patriotic man that was always willing to help others, he will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories; his loving and devoted wife; Connie S. Bray of Bronston, his beloved Daughters; Rachelle Bray (Aaron Meadows) of Somerset, Jessica Bray (Cody Dalton) of Somerset, April (Jeremy) McPheron of Somerset, Heather Bray (Johnathan Reynolds) of Somerset, Brothers; Stoney Hotop, James Bray, Kenneth Bray and a sister; Nannie Dionna Carter all of Somerset, grandchildren; Isaiah Stevenson, Jocelyn Dalton, Jaydan (Noah Ray) Bray, Serenity Meadows, and Xander Dalton, Special Friend; Larry Jo Nevels, and his Best Friend; Shannon along with his “four legged friend; “Rocky” and Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2017 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday in the Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Allen Fisher officiating
Interment will be in the Quinton Cemetery.
