Mrs. Carolyn Morrow Correll, age 75, of Somerset, passed away August 12, 2017 in Eubank.

She was born February 26, 1942 in the Delta Community of Wayne County, Kentucky, to the late Frank and Lora New Morrow. Mrs. Correll was a retired laborer of Tecumseh Products for a number of years. She was a graduate of Wayne County High School- Class of 1963. Carolyn was a member of Denham Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Gleno Correll, whom she married September 25, 1964 in Wayne County, Kentucky, son; Kevin Lee Correll, daughter; Judy Gail Correll, and a brother; Fred Morrow.

She is survived by her daughter; Vieanna West (Joe Collins) of Somerset, brothers; Edmond Morrow and Wendell Morrow both of the Delta Community, sisters; Joyce (Robert) Thompson of Delta, Dora Shelton of Chattanooga, Tennessee, two grandchildren; Ashley (Jordan) Absher and Aaron West, three great-grandchildren; Hailey Absher, Emma-Kate Absher, and Andrew Absher, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 5 o’clock p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 11 o’clock a.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Grant Hardwick officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
