James Neal Dixon, age 21, of the Jabez Community passed from this life unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in Jessamine County, Kentucky.

He was born on February 24, 1996 in Whitesburg, Kentucky, son of James Ronald Dixon and Christina Adkins.  “Neal” as he was called by those who knew and loved him, enjoyed spending time with his friends, and was an avid four wheeler and dirt biker.  He was employed as a machinist with Stephens Pipe and Steel in Russell Springs, Kentucky and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his parents; James Ronald Dixon of Jabez, and Christina Adkins of Nicholasville. Brothers; Shane Turner of Hazard and Ashby Chase Sanderson of Frankfort; Sisters; Tiffany Turner of Hazard, Montana Adkins and Savannah Adkins of Lexington. Paternal Grandparents; James E. and Jackie Sue Dixon of Jabez, Maternal Grandparents; Larry Neal Adkins of Carrollton, and Donna Jean Adkins of Frankfort. Aunts; Teresa Dixon of Jabez, Karleen Jones of Hazard, Rebecca Adkins of Lexington and Ginger Griffith of Frankfort, Uncles; Glenn R. Dixon of Jabez, Jeremy Quarry of Frankfort, Russell Adkins of Georgetown, Ancil Adkins and Larry Adkins of Brandenburg and James A. Dixon of Whitesburg along with his girlfriend; Jami Grace of Nicholasville and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in memory of James Neal Dixon
