Henry “ Geno” Yingst, age 71, of Russell Springs, KY passed from this life on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at his home.

He was born on August 4, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas, son of the late Henry Zack and Modine Griffin Yingst.

Henry was a music performer and produced several CD’s.  He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. His hobbies included Golfing and Fishing.   He was a Retired Sheet Metal Worker with the Sheet Metal Union Local 20 and was of the Pentecostal faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife; Carol Sue Bland Yingst and Siblings; Cecil Yingst and Sandy Yingst. as well as his pet “Prissie” – “His Precious Baby”.

Henry is survived by his wife, Bessie Parmley Yingst, whom he married on June 10, 2000 in Muncie, Indiana. Along with his son; Patrick David Yingst of Muncie, Indiana and Step-son; Billy (Kristy) Brown of Frankfort, Indiana. Two daughters; Bonnie (Timothy) Clark of Albany, Indiana, Joanna (Michael) Wooten of Key West, Florida and Two step-daughters; Vena Douglas and Lottie (Wes) Jenkins of Muncie, Indiana.  A Brother; Sonny (Annie) Yingst of Selma, Indiana and a special “Brother” Dean Jones of Muncie, Indiana.  Sister;  Hope (John) Newby of Anderson, Indiana. Eight grandchildren; Brianna, Kaycee, Holly, Stephney, Kaleb, Liam, Aubrey, Parker and Peyson and Six Great-grandchildren.  A good friend; James Flatt of Russell Springs along with several nieces, nephews and a host of cousins and other friends.

In accordance with his wishes Mr. Yingst will be cremated.  There will be a Celebration of Life at Heekin Park in Muncie Indiana and a private burial in the Union Cemetery in Eaton, Indiana at a later date.
