Eagan Scott Hargis, age 3, and Kieran Colby Hargis, age 20 months, of Maysville, departed this life on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, in Maysville.

Eagan was born on January 23, 2012, in Lexington, the son of Lori Ann Doppelheuer-Kearney and Chris Hargis. He loved Thomas the Train and Curious “Monkey” George.

Kieran was born on February 17, 2014, in Lexington, to Lori and Chris. He loved the movie, “Toy Story”, and never tired of watching it.

They are survived by their father; their brother, Gavin Quincey Hargis; their sisters, Sara Bailee Hargis and Makayla Kearney; their grandparents, Gary and Beverly Hargis, Bob and Susan Doppelheuer and Ann Shumate Doppelheuer; their uncles and aunts, Aaron and Faye Hargis, Tony and Regina Swiney, Kimberly Doppelheuer and Eddy Meek; their cousin, Sadie Hargis; great-grandmothers, Alfreda Stringer and Lucille Hargis; great-uncles and great-aunts, Reggie (and Linda) Stringer, Garnett Stringer, Randall (and Tonya) Stringer, Cindy (and Mark) Sloan, Jay (and Chasity) Stringer and Cathy (and Tony) Thompson; and host of other cousins and friends.

Eagan and Kieran were accompanied in death by their mother, Lori, and their brother, Christopher Kearney.

Preceding Eagan and Kieran in death are their great-grandfathers, Dale Stringer and Gene Hargis; great-grandmothers, Lillian Doppelheuer and Mary Shumate; and their cousin, Josey Swiney.

Visitation for Eagan, Kieran, their mother and brother, Christopher, will be held Saturday, October 24, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., in the Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel, and on Sunday, October 25, from 9:00 a.m. until time for funeral services.
