Edward Wayne Bradley, age 75 of Somerset passed away on Saturday February 22, 2014 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. Mr. Bradley was born on December 12, 1938 in the Ruth Community to the late Porter and Mary Marjorie Hail.

Mr. Bradley proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from General Electric after 44 and a half years’ service. After retiring in 2004 he dedicated his life to being a husband, father and an amazing grandfather. Wayne was a caring man and gave everything he could and never expected anything in return, He touched so many lives and made so many people smile, he will be greatly missed. He loved fishing, auto racing, politics and his Sunday School class.

He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Ferguson Baptist Church.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Sandra Faith Ramsey Bradley; sons, Mark Bradley of Somerset and Scot (Robyn) Bradley of Nancy; daughters, Myra (Barry) Holman of Somerset and Melinda (Cedric) Hamilton of Glasgow; brothers, Dewey (Donna) Bradley of Somerset, Elwood (Laura) Bradley of Monticello, and Porter (Nancy) Bradley Jr. of Somerset; sisters, Marilyn Carmichael of New Bern, North Carolina, Zelleen Hamm of Somerset, Dale ( Raymond) Cowans of Nancy; grandchildren, Dustin Bradley, Celeste Bradley, Dakota Bradley, Kierstin Holman, Christian Holman, Kalie Holman, Lily Hamilton, Landon Hamilton; great grandchildren, Cannon Hicks and Westin Bradley.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Mark Wayne Bradley Jr.; brothers, Billy Bradley and Howard Bradley.

Visitation for Mr. Bradley will be Sunday February 23, 2014 at 6 P.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Monday February 24, 2014 at 1:30 P.M. with Bro. Jason Moore officiating.

Interment will be in Clay Hill Cemetery. Dewey Bradley, Elwood Bradley, Christian Holman, Dakota Bradley, Barry Holman, Cedric Hamilton, and Dustin Bradley will be serving as active pallbearers.

Full military honors will be performed by American Legion Post 38 Honor Guard.
